Microsoft says Firefox not a threat to IE | Tech News on ZDNet

Don't you have to assume that since Microsoft responded so quickly that they really are worried? "The lady doth protest too much, methinks".

My son uses Firefox exclusively, mostly because it doesn't create tons of windows on the menu bar.

Tsunami Emergency: Catholic Relief Services

The scale seems biblical; over 100,000 people dead in a single morning. Here is where Christian values can really shine though. The entire Christian world sounds like it is responding. Of course, I'm partial to the CRS (see link above), but there are many worthy charities that are sending help.

It is, of course, unfortunate that President Bush didn't come out sooner and use his bully pulpit to recommend that Americans respond. Not that America the country should send loads of money; it seems ridiculous that the government should force people to be charitable. Now the Navy is sending some ships with water purifiers. That makes sense (where else are you going to get them?). But money should come from the citizens, of their own free will.

Random Thoughts

Blogging my own Blog. I did this really as a test, but also to put a disclaimer for the ads. I like the Google idea, but the ads are placed by Google, not by me. If you see an ad that really seems out of place, forward a comment to me, and I'll get rid of the ad.

Random thoughts on the immaculate conception Crowhill on culture, politics, religion, current events

Well, this fellow seems to get the point, and expresses it very well. I found this while I was looking to see if this (my) Blog showed up on Google yet (still haven't found it), and was surprised to see another blog with Random Thoughts about Mary's excellence.

Good on ya Greg!

This looks like the tool that became Mathematica. It looks like it can do many of the same operations as Mathematica, but it lacks the beautiful formating of the output.

What's New in Mathematica 5: Symbolic Computations: Resolve

Mathematica has got to be the most perfect software. Yes, it's complicated, but with power comes responsibility. This is so cool...

Urantia Book, Paper Foreword: Section XII -- The Trinities

I stumbled on this one quite by accident. It looks suspiciously like someone preying (not praying) on those people who are searching for something more.
